whats your favorite type of armour?
i went for elven, im no expert on armour but that type of crisscrossed effect looks really supple giving lots of mobility but might still be quite strong, those elves knew their stuff
I went for Rohan because I love chainmail and scale armour, plus the use of leather in their armour is just superb.
Both Elven and Rohan
gondor for myself because their armour looks the best and look very efficient plus gondor waas based on rome and byzantium. 2 of my fav peoples in history
I voted for numenorean, that stuff is stinking awsome.
I voted for Gondor also, I really like those breastplates
I Voted For The Rohan Armour.in Particular,i Love Merry's Armour With All The Horse & Celtic Knotwork Design.
merry's armour is ok i guess, but I still like Pippin's more.
made for Faramir when still a kid ( movie version)
For me you put Elven against Numenorean. I like them both equally but I voted elven because of its beauty.
I voted for Gondor because I love Faramir's armor- both the armor we see him wearing, and his armor from his childhood which Pippin wears! I think Pippin looks incredible in it.
I voted Rohan, though I also like Elven and Numenorian.
from the pictures ive seen of boromir in his gondorian armor from the flashback scene in TTT... id have to put my vote there.. although my second vote would be the dwarven garb... sweet stuff
dwarf ?....oh...ehm...I mean...YEAH I thought about it, I thought about it but in the end decided that the stuff wouldn't fit anywayz so I'll keep to my gondorian armour.
haha come on!! with that combination of chain, scale, and leather armour.. gimli has been getting overlooked, literally, alot lately and i think its time we give some credit where credit is due..
.. although you can't beat that gondorian plate mail
I think you are right about gimli getting overlooked
I think that's largely due to the way he is portrayed in the movies:
quite a caricature instead of the mighty warrior he was in the books.
I think this is a fault on peter Jacksons part, one of the many, actually ( Iam somewhat of a perfectionist)
well i've heard that john rhys-davies actually had alot to do with how gimli's character is in the trilogy thus far.. from watching the movies, if i had never read the books... although clumsy, id still say he would be the first guy into a battle and the last guy out of one
you should really read the books, quite a difference.
He's not the comic relief. That's for sure.
my point exactly
