If given the choice between one of the two, which would you pick? Which is the better?

I personally like Fantasy way more than Sci-fi. It has more appeal to me as I love the mystery associated with it. I don't mind Sci-fi, but because I can't relate to it, it doesn't appeal to me. Also I haven't read alot of Sci-fi, (very few compared to Fantasy).

I prefer Fantasy also. I've read a little science fiction. But the worlds in a fantasy book are so much more vivid. I don't feel like I can get into the world in a science fiction book.

I like both, but my vote still goes for Fantasy. It is easier for me to get lost in.

I've got to go with Legsy, here. I like both equally, and also mixed together.

Would Star Wars be an example of the mixture?

I prefer Fantasy although they are pretty close to me. In my opinion swords, bows, magic, cavalry, they are all more appealing to me. Lasers, beams, spaceships, its okay I guess... Although I really like Things that are a bit of both..say, a fantasy with a little bit of Sci-Fi. Anyway, Fantasy gets my vote! xD

Fantasy of course... no alien or robot (im sad to say that) can beat all those races of orcs, elves, and goblins... nothing can beat that!

Well, science fiction got one vote. But I guess since this is the fantasy forum one would guess that the vote might be a little swayed..
