Sounds good to me. As mentioned earlier, I'd like to arrive on Saturday and leave early on Monday.

The "Old Town Holiday Rooms" doesn't sound bad, apart from the shared bathrooms (I'm a little pedantic and have made some negative experiences with those ). But if I picked the hotel in the Old Town that I suggested we'd still be fairly close to each other. How about that? :)

Well fuuu, in the end I decided travel by plane and the planes are like 16h and 27h -_-, and BUS is shitty. And the car thing is, as I am the lone driver - 10h/12h is bit too much to travel in 1 day.. and to take another hotel is more expensive that plane -_-

    Well, that's less fortunate.

Soo... what do you propose, Anon. What's the implication here?

Stara Karczma Pensjonat is super near to my place - which could be a great solution actually :)
Aniołki is kind of between where I live and the old town. Not a bad place, but still not very practical for our purposes, I guess.
Hotel Wolne Miasto is very central so the neighbourhood is nice :) But it might be a bit louder at night than Oliwa, I guess.

Where exacty is the place you've reseved? Cause Centre of the city and Old Town are basically the same thing :>

Awesome! For a moment there I was worried you wouldn't come because of the inconvenient journey to Gdansk :D

Awesome #2! I picked the Stara Karczma Pensjonat and booked a room just a moment ago. That way I'll be able to sleep at night (the one in the centre got some negative reviews because it is indeed very loud in that area at night) and I won't get lost on the way back there. :D
I also booked the flights today, so there's no turning back now. I will arrive on Saturday at 2pm and only need to find out how to get from the airport to Oliwa using public transport.
This is actually happening. I'm so excited! Adventure! :sword:

That's awesome, really going to happen! Adventure indeed!

So you two booked different places, heh? I'll have to think about what I will do, and where to book. Maybe I'll book a room at Chez Oddy :D

Okay, jokes aside - I suppose you'll be heading home every evening, Oddy? Is that doable from where you live?

Well my friends suggest this awesome website, where you can rent apartments instead of Hotels AirBnB (we could find 3 bed room apartment and spilt the cost) It would be tons cheaper f0r 2 bedroom I found 145USD! for 3 days.

Vacation Rentals, Homes, Apartments & Rooms for Rent - Airbnb

    So?
@firi worst case i`ll drive there myself!

That's practically in the old town :>

Yay! We'll think of getting you safe from the airport. It's actually quite close to the city, so we could just pick you up, I think :)

Yes, of course I will. And it is absolutely doable. And I'm already warning you that I go to sleep early so no nightclubbing for me ;D And if you end up without a place to sleep you can crush at my couch. If you don't mind me getting up very early and waking you up while I prepare breakfast ;P

I leave this decision to you guys :>

I booked a hotel room in Oliwa for 250 PLN per night (including breakfast). I don't have any experience with renting apartments. Can you find anything that's better than this? :D
The thing is, I'd feel more comfortable if I had a place for myself (which has nothing at all to do with you guys) - or, to be precise, if I had a bathroom to myself, so that I could spend as much time there as I want in the morning. :p

But it has no wifi! I'll need wifi to let my peeps at home know that I wasn't murdered or kidnapped in oh-so-dangerous Poland :D
It's only a little cheaper than what I booked. Actually, when I looked the first time, what I booked had roughly the same price - I should have booked then, dammit.

Well you do know that Booking.com and all "cheap price" websites track the things you check and adjust price - always do in incognito mode :p
