    We're now carrying Eragon Swords

By the way, these seem to be very much like UC's LOTR in terms of quality/packaging/presentation. Manufacturer by Master Cutlery.

I've never heard of Master Cutlery. Would you mean Master Replicas? If so, they'll actually be made by Windlass Steelcrafts and sold by MR. If that's the case they'll be a step up in quality from the UC stuff as they'll be made of functional materials.

I don't consider windlass to be a step up. We've never had a quality complaint about UC, but frequently customers are disappointed with the Drizz't swords & Wheel of Time swords we sell because they are used to LOTR quality. It doesn't matter what grade of steel you use for the blade it if it put together poorly, if it comes in shoddy packaging, if the handle material is extremely cheap.

But no, Master Cutlery is not Master Replicas. MC is a wholesale supplier for knives & swords and armor. We buy chain mail from them. This is their first major license.

I am working on getting pictures and I will post some when I do. All swords will come with a display plaque like LOTR, but also a scabbard.

The main sword has a limited edition of 1000, it is hard to say what the price will be on that. The others should be priced like LOTR before the liquidation markdowns.

I managed to uncover these on the net. Actual store prices are usually far lower than RRP, someone said to expect prices about the same as a LOTR sword?

Well, even if the movie isn't good, it looks like the swords will be!

That sword of Arya is a weird one. Obviously made for a slender female, not much metal near the tip so I'm guessing they're making her into a slasher and slicer more than a hacker, which suits the elven female warrior thing I guess. A blade that thin would bounce off armour and I'm not sure how good it would be for thrusting either.

But I think I'll be busy looking at Sienna Guillory not her sword anyway :D

Does that sword of Durza really have such a short pointy blade, or is that a forced perspective photo?

Oh God. That movie is so far from the books it makes me sick.
