does anyone other than me agree that Darth Maul is the only thing that made this movie decent? Love Star Wars to bits but....

Ray Parks did an excellent job, but I have to personally disagree with you. Whenever I watch episode 1, it's because, out of all the SW movies, it's the most light-hearted.

Also, I was kind of ticked off with the fight at the end. As a fencer and martial artist myself, I would have loved to have seen less close-ups and more wide shots. Yeah Lucas, we get it. You're actors do their own fights. Good for you.

I liked it, but it didn't have much action to me... It did make a good song for Weird Al though...

Even without Darth Maul, it would have still been better than episode 2.

Hmm, I agree that if there were no Darth Maul, Ep 1 would have suffered even more. The Sword Play in Ep 1 was awsome, very enjoyable to watch.

All these complaints about CGI especially when it comes to a SW movie. You really have to get used to more modern techniques and let go of the old ones. It's getting really old and boring.

I don't mean to jump into a subject I'm not that familiar with but isn't this the movie coming to theaters? If so, then I'm going to go and see it. The animation is just sooo Wicked looking. :) Ben Kenobi rocks my socks. lol.

I saw the trailer for it and though to myself: "Damn, they're dragging my childhood in the dirt and now they're spitting on it." I mean come on! The char's look like they were designed by the guy who designed the teletubbies!

again it's progress. SW is created for the general audience, meaning also for children. That is why they didn't go for the Beowulf look for example. I think calling it throwing your childhood in the dirt is deeply exaggerated.

Lucas is a noob. He should aim for his real audience, not little kids.

Ok not beowulf, but did they really have to go for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles look? I mean at least make them look like people! We have the technology!
