When I was reading "A Game of Thrones" I couldn't put it down, literally. Even walking out of work for a smoke break, I was walking with the book in my hand, reading. Sometimes people still comment that "I'm the girl who's always got a book in her hand" when they see me. After the "red wedding", I called Petyr nearly in hysterics with tears saying "I hate George Martin! I hate him, I hate him, I hate him!!!!". Remember though, that I was also thinking the Hound had killed Arya, so I was doubly upset. Looking back on it now, I have to laugh at myself for how upset I got, but then I think that is just a testament to Martin's prowess at writing, that he can invoke so much emotion.
