My GF and I have been obsessively playing Elder Scrolls Online for about a month now. We are having a blast and really enjoy it so far.

Do any of our TFF members play?

That's awesome! My D&D group recently broke apart because one member moved away and the other became too busy with work. We consistently played the same campaign that I created every weekend for almost two years. Of course, sometimes we played on a Tuesday or Wednesday to make up if someone had something come up on Saturday, but that only happened a few times.

That's one of the reasons my GF and I started playing Elder Scrolls Online... to try and fill the void that was left. It's obviously not the same, but it has its merits. :)

I have ESO on the Xbox One. haven't really played in a while, waiting for a buddy of mine to get the game so I'm not just wandering around all alone, but it's taking him too long to get it. also I kinda rage quit after I found out they reset all the skill points which cost me a couple deaths and I believe at least one soul gem. I will probably try and pick it up again when I get bored with Onigiri.

I just started a character late last week, but I only played long enough to reach level 2. I'm using the control pad beta. It seems pretty fun. The animations seem a bit more clunky than Skyrim, but then maybe it's because the initial weapon I found was a two hander, which I don't usually use in Skyrim. There doesn't seem much information either. I had to look up online whether or not it had autosave.

I've been working 50 hours/week and playing FO4, so I don't know how much I'll get into it, but I have a friend who's a big WoW fan who's been trying to get me to join an MMO, so I'm sure at some point I'll give it a lot more hours.

My GF and I play at least twice a week. We were more active at first. Look for me online and I can introduce you to some guilds to join. My ESO username is @nxparadox. Just send me an in-game email and clarify that you found me from this forum. We would be happy to have more adventurers join us.

I bought it for a niece. She's 10 and she's a Skyrim junky. I bought her a headset as well, so we can play together online. So far we haven't. I started to initially when I set it up with her, and realized that she started an Ebonheart character and my Breton wasn't the same faction so we started off on separate continents in the game, and apparently you can't play in the same areas until level 50.

So I started a new character and quickly got it up to level 7... The controls just don't feel as nice as Skyrim and the game just doesn't seem to have the same substance. You just spend a lot of time doing quests and the land itself isn't quite as immersive or interesting.

I think the real appeal of these types of games is probably simply the multiplayer option and if you're not into that, it's probably not that fun.

    It's a shame you can't play a skyrim or a fallout 4 with a friend.
