Well, I'v thought about this abit, and its hard to come to a conclusion, Dwarves are very hard to corrupt, as put by Tolkein in the Silm (Of the 3rd age and Rings)

But the one ring is of much greater power than that which was in the Dwarf Rings.
Do u think they would get currupted, say like a Human would?

I'm sure everything would be corrupted, it just would take longer to corrupt the dwarves than a human.

I agree. I think that it would take them a heck of alot longer to be corrupted, but overtime, they to would give in. I'm gonna guess 300 years:p.

Did it actually say that Dwarves were difficult to corrupt? I remembered it saying something along the lines of; they were not easily controlled. I think there may be a diffrence. Corrupted yes, directly manipulated no.

I thought it was the exact opposite, after taking the rings the dwarves delved even deeper into their mines, shutting themselves off of contact from the outside. In other words, Sauron manipulated them into staying out of his affairs. I think it is the greed for power that allowed the Men to be controlled so, and of course the elves felt Sauron's treachery and immediately removed the rings once Sauron put the One ring on.

I wouldn't say that but i must say that the Dwarfs probably didn't wear them or show them of but hid them so it was as if they never existed

The greed of the Dwarves is definately their weak point. Maybe manipulation was the wrong word to use. The Dwarves as a whole cannot be forced into servitude as men can be. That is why the 7 bearers of the Dwarven rings were slain rather than controlled as the 9 were.

Aule made Dwarves to be resistant to all things which is why the rings had little effect - and they were greedy enough by nature anyway. I think shutting themselves off had more to do with Sauron's growing power and their uneasy friendship with the Elves. I think most of the dwarves' rings were eventually swallowed by dragons along with their owners?

Heh, swallowed. You may be right. I don't think that it is actually said what happened to most of the 7. At least not in anything I have read so far.

That or I have a mental block

I though I read somewhere (maybe Encyc. ofArda) that 4 of them were found, and the rest lost. Or maybe it was that 4 of them were lost, and 3 found. Can't quite remember.

Hope they had antiacids in M.E.

    Anyways, I think the statement:
Helps clears the question in trial up a bit. But I still don't know where they got the information from.

I've always wondered that myself. Could he possibly have gotten one from Thror? I know he was a prisoner in Dul Guldur, but did he have one? I don't think it says one way or the other....

Does it actually say who held all 7 of the Dwarf rings? I can only remember a few of them.

I think it says in Unfinished tales that Sauron retrieved a ring from Thror in the dungeons or something...

Ya, I think I remember something about that to.
Don't think the seven dwarves were named, other than Durin.
