awww....those pics make me miss summer!
Nice nature pics! You know, pics like that sell if you got them printed on canvas. You'd be very surprised and might be able to make some coin on the side there mate.
Damn. I'm in the wrong business...
Wow thank you!
They're only there thanks to greenhouses SJ
More nature pictures, this time from a New Year's (Eve) walk along Wenlock Edge, in Shropshire (beautiful place!):
Oh WOW. You live in a very beautiful area of the world, Dru. I'm jealous!
Green things that aren't covered with ice and snow! The world is a wonderful place.
That's actually where my cousins and grandma live, Belgium isn't that nice
As to the snow SJ, it's odd not to have had any, really odd… I would love to have some (we don't get as much as you I don't think).
Please, take some of ours! We're getting slowly buried.
I'll wait a day and then take it all, thus blocking all flights out of Belgium until Sunday
All of it huh?
Wow! I hope you know that you're in for a lot of shovelling.
I have a lot of energy to spare and need something to do with my time, although it's too late now… I'd take it anyway though, as playing in it is fun and I have nowhere to go for 13 days
Well, the deep freeze has ended and tomorrow is supposed to be +6 C. Flooding will be next on winter's agenda.
You'd better come and pick up your snow quick!
I'll probably get in the floods though Oh well, we had heavy frost here, although it's suddenly jumped to 5°C…
Here are a few from the Wisley Gardens in Surrey. Lovely place and a lovely person to take me there
Oooh, these are pretty Great, Druid! I especially love the macro shots Also the ones you posted before.
I agree about the micro shots. I don't know HOW you do them. I suck every time I try.
I think the "pink puffball" flower is my favourite!
Thank you Oddrun! I've quite recently got into macro photography of plants
It's quite funny because the macro shots are done by zooming in (I have a 23x optical zoom, but a non interchangeable lens) and standing back until what I want comes into focus
Thanks! The dreamy effect is due to the lens fogging up in a really hot and humid glass house
Like this photo, so typically English!
Not that much into intense close-ups, leastwise of flowers, like to see macro shots of animals though. Especially of birds!
