Last years I saw many people, who didn't respect the Rules of Road. There are a lot of them on Moscow streets. It seems to me, that people became crazy and uncotrolled. So many accidents for the last five years. And in every year its number only growing up. I wander, what situation is in Europe and America? How often do you see people, who think, that safe driving is not a priority of their life?

Well over here the number of accidents is going down, which is awesome.
They invented some new rules concerning the driving age and stuff, they also have many campaigns going to call to the folks conscience (or however you say that).
There's a visible difference though between country and city driving though. Or between the citys themselves.

Yes. But you hit the tree, not people, bus or another car. And as I can imagine - you are alive.

Good thing too. If I hurt someone I couldn't live with myself. lesson learnt.

From what I've heard, the traffic conditions in Thailand, India and Vietnam is a total nightmare. One can get hit on a whim of fate. I also heard China has such history, but dunno if that has changed in any way or extent due to the country opening up to the international stage. -.-

Where i live no one really cares much for most traffic rules, unless they happen to be near a traffic officer. Usually there are not to many accidents, i think this is because we all know the way we drive and what we should be expecting from the driver near us. So i think we follow some kind of unwritten protocol.

We don't really got a good driving culture. This freaks out first time drivers and drivers that are new to the city.

here in california people generally follow tthe rules of the road, although speed limits and stop signs are occasionally ignored and people will give you a rude gesture if you forgot the light was green.

In England road safety is mostly okay but there are a lot of young drivers who drive whilst drunk or think it's funny to speed et cetera and that ends up with a lot of serious accidents so there's a massive campaign about drink driving laws and driving safety.
I personally think cars are stupid anyway and that hoverpods should be invented by somebody. XD
