Me, player Origins and liked it, played DA2 and disliked it, now awaiting for Inquisition and not really sure. Though it does seem that they are taking themselves seriously this time, they said the in-game graphics would be the same used on the trailer - THAT is awesome

I see much promise in this one. I think it will be a giant leap from Dragon Age 2. Everything looks fantastic. The gameplay, the story, the graphics. There's only two things that seem a bit like a bummer. One are the companions. They seem very interesting, but as romantic interests the list seems a bit disappointing for both genders. The second is that graphically it looks great. I think it could just have been magnificent if they as the team behind Witcher 3 had stuck to current-gen. I know that sounds selfish, because many gameplayers can't get a current-gen console yet or perhaps don't know what to choose, I guess.

the biggest thing that kinda bums me out is no Orzamar. the graphics look crazy, the character creation may just end up pushing other rpg's to do a similar system, which would be cool, just because it lets you fine tune something to make your character unique, and yea. as to the companions, I think it's fine where it is, though if I come to like one of them, I hope I can continue having them as companions cause I heard that they will leave if they feel your objectives don't follow theirs.

I also don't know what to make of the multiplayer. any thoughts?

The first playthrough I'm doing I'll be aiming to become a witch-king of all Thedas or atleast aim for power and ruling over stuff thingy.... That will be possible right?

I'm not sure, I mean you will have power since you are the inquisitor, but ruling over stuff, I don't know

I know, but it would be so awesome to conquer stuff. Still I guess I could just go and kick some demonic ass.

Also - isn't it kinda wierd if you play a mage: You'll be a mage AND an inquisitor at the same time... Just saying

Also have you noticed that you collect basic resources like iron for weapons and armor or elfroot for potions by yourself? I Figured that being the #1 of a powerful shady organisations would atleast mean I have some sort of servants or labourers to do that for me you know.

hey at least there's an abundance of elfroot, not like in Origins, where by the end, I was scrounging by, and happy as all hell when I found one. I'm not very fond of only 8 health potions though.

I haven't really been playing any of the story because I've just been doing ALL of the side quests. I can't stop

That's how I play DA:I as well. Complete all the side quests until there's nothing else to do, then continue the main story, repeat. :D

I really like this game, although the Xbox 360 version is awfully buggy and and the graphics are horrible in dialogues and cutscenes. I enjoy the gameplay and characters a lot, and finished the game once as a pro-mage female rogue. Still have a male mage and female elven warrior (two-handed swords, aww yeaaahh) with whom I haven't completed the game yet, but they can wait.

The PC version has a nice bug too with Nvidai cards where it crashes randomly. Always a pain if that happens after a long bit of cinematics!

Great fun though and I must work on finishing it and getting the newest expansion to it!

Some advice on the DLC, Jaws of Hakkon is fine. It did feel like more of the same. Descent is bad imo. The deeproads are its only setting and the boss is pretty difficult to defeat. Take a lot of non-melee fighters with you. I haven't tried Trespasser, but it looks a lot more promissing, you delve deeper into the characters. The main story, I've hear is just okay, but it's quite rewarding, going from setting to setting, back to the Winter Palace (and for the ladies... In a dress ;) ).

I still have yet to finish this game, though I fully intend to very soon, hopefully before the end of the year, and then next year I'll probably delve into the dlc.

so I just wanted to share a little tidbit. I've been playing a lot of Final Fantasy 14 A Realm Reborn, and I found out that one of the members in the Free Company (player guild) I'm in was an environmental designer for the first 2 Dragon Age games.
