    Name: Sumerin Ayánmet
    Age: older than she looks
    Race: Human
Appearance: Small, elfin. Appears to be in early twenties. long, straight black hair, usually in a braid. Pale skin, and slanted eyes of icy blue-white. Small tattoo of a strange symbol in indigo on brow. Wears simple clothing (kimono-like), homespun and dyed with plant dyes. Despite her diminuative and impoverished appearance, she has an air of authority and carries herself tall and strong. Appears very fragile, but is actually very strong because she is self-subsistent.
History: The Ayán religion is a group that believes that all things are kept running by the flow of natural energies. These energies are produced by the Earth herself, the Creator of Energies, and are constantly being replenished. However, these energies can get dangerously out of balance, and it is the duty of the priesthood, led by the Ayánmet Coten (High Priestess of Ayán) to restore these balances. The Ayánmet and Ayámar are taught to sense these imbalances and restore them. Included in their training is teaching of any skill that might be needed to restore said balance, and so most of the Ayán priesthood is skilled and multitalented. They are also taught to manipulate the nature energies to affect the world around them.
Sumerin's mother was an Ayánmet at the time there was a hostile takeover of the nation in which they lived. Most of the Ayán priesthood was slain, but some of the Ayánmet were raped and left as dead. Sumerin's mother was one of these and, as the remaining Ayánmet went into hiding, she realized she would have a child. This child (Sumerin) was raised to the Ayán religion and was initiated as an Ayánmet at the age of 18. Shortly afterwards, her mother took ill and died. Since then, Sumerin has been practicing her religion in the forest grove in which she was raised (yes, she has seen the outside world, she goes to a nearby town to trade once a month)

Name: Officially is Ketrin Lentesa, but uses the name Rin Senta
    Age: seventeen
    Race: human
Appearance: Tall for a girl, curly brown hair, green eyes. Usually wears hair tied back with a leather thong. Wears a man's coat and breeches, as well as boots, in camoflage-ey colors. Is usually swathed in a cloak with the hood up, even in full summer.
Weapons: Numerous small knives hidden about her person and a sword. Though her scabbard and sword belt look shabby, the sword is actually the highest quality steel. She also knows the making of fireworks, and so can make explosives when she needs them.
History: Rin is the daughter of a very powerful nobleman in a large country. From a young age, she had an interest in the fighting arts, despite the dsiapproval of her parents. When she got older, her parents finally put their foot down and forced her to learn to be a lady, but in her spare time, she would sneak out to the training yards. The final straw came when Rin's parents arranged for her to marry the son of another powerful noble in the same country. She refused to be forever doomed to a life of protection and so she took a sword and many knives from her father's armory and ran away. She joined a band of wanderers and while living with them learned how to make fireworks. Then she discovered that her father had his guards out looking for her, and so once again, she left. Now, she is constantly in hiding for fear of being found. She sells fireworks for money and, when necessary, will hire herself out as a mercenary.

Yeah, I decided I'd be a good girl and finally get around to finishing my profile. . .

    Name: Kelaine Makela Aes Sedai
    Race: Human
    Nationality: Saldaean
    Ajah: Yellow
Age: Not telling, but has worn the shawl for at least 40 years.
Characteristics: Of average height, with long slightly curly black hair and the dark, characteristicly tilted Saldean eyes. Also (obviously) the ageless Aes Sedai face. She is slender and graceful, also fairly even tempered. Though a Yellow, she is very bookish, in fact she almost chose the Brown. However, she chose the Yellow instead. She is one of the more powerful women in the tower and, though it is known only to her Ajah, she is very high on the Yellow totem pole
History: Kelaine grew up on a fairly prosperous farm near the Saldean blightborder. She was the oldest of a large family, and was therefore expected to take on the farm when her parents died. Because of this, she was very well educated, and learned to read, write, and do mathematics at a vwery young age. As she grew older, she had more responsibilities, and one year she and her oldest brother, who was a year younger, were put in charge of taking some of the harvest into town to sell. Because they seldom left the farm, they took their siblings with them. While they were gone, there was a trolloc raid on the farm, and both of their parents were taken. Kelaine and her brother took on the responsibility of running the farm and raising their brothers and sisters, but the children were difficlut to keep track of. Kelaine often found herself wishing she had a way that she could know exactly where the children were without having to search for them. Suddenly, one day exactly this happened. A short time later, Kelaine suffered a brief and mysterious illness that neither she nor her brother could explain. From that time, she could make something happen so that anywhere the children were, she could easily find them. This went on for a few months when one day an Aes Sedai came to the farm, searching for a woman she said she had felt channeling from the town. This was, of course, Kelaine, and so she left her brother, who had now reached the age of majority, in charge, and went off to Tar Valon. Though she soon discovered that she was very strong in the power, she could only channel when she wished to find something that was outside her line of sight. The Aes Sedai broke this block by taking something of hers and hidhng it with the power. Since this was most often done in a classroom with others channelingh as well, Kelaine just thought that she was missing something, and so she channeled well. After a time, those assigned to break her block revealed to her that what she sought to find was not missing or even truely hidden, but rather behind a veil of Saidar that she could plainly see. After this, Kelaine could channel at any time and she rose quickly to the shawl. After choosing the Yellow, she bonded a Warder, who was later killed by whitecloaks. Shortly before the breaking of the tower, she was entrusted with six angreal and sa'angreal that had been in the possession of the Yellows for a long time. It was suspected that , like all items of that type, though they allowed the women draw on more power than they could otherwise, they allowed some elements to be drawn on even more than others. Kelaine was supposed to study them. In the confusion of the breaking, however, it was forgotten that she had them, and they were thought lost. Kelaine traveled to Salidar, and began studying a woman they had found who could heal without channeling.
