Did man really land on the moon back in the 60's?
Yes, i believe the US landed on the moon back in teh 60s. I figure this because they can see the stuff from the original landing from some earth telescopes.
I watched an episode of myth busters where they disproved every conspiracy theroy
No, it was all faked.
Several thousand people were involved in the massive hoax and 40 years later, still not one has broken their silence.
Me too. Mythbusters is cool.
fake. It's impossible for humans to survive in outer space.
And the heartland of Australia too
space is a little harsher me thinks
Not by much lol
Some of it nowadays does look kinda like 60s special effects, however......humans don't cope well with guilt. Imagine all the people who would know the real details if it was a hoax. Dozens at least. Just say NASA did launch a rocket and their ground crew believed it all happened, but the 3 astronauts were obviously part of the faking. Then there's the people who would be involved in cutting in the fake tv signal, the people who made the fake studio etc....
People don't cope well with being called a hero and a legend their whole life if it's all a lie. Guilt about lies eats at humans, and we have this need to confess our sins. I reckon if it was all faked, we would have heard of someone making a deathbed confession by now.
not if the American government threatened to kill their families if they said anything and simply paid them off.
I have extreme doubts that the presidents would allow that. Especially when Carter took office, the human optimist.
Of course human's can live in space, that's why there's the suit they wear. Like the man in Kakashi's sig.
I used to have my doubts. Then Wallace & Grommet proved what an easy job it was. No big deal.
too much radiation in OUTER space. within our own inner space those suits work. They sent monkeys into outer space in those suits and they died from radiation.
i think yes, they had all right Components, its not like titanium is better nowadays? maybe electronic is lighter and some isolation has been change, but technically there isnt big difference between those 60s space ship , and modern one. so it is possible. The questions is did they have enough money to travel ,and to organize expensive travel like this...
What? Fifty years ago? That was because their food supplies received a fat dose of radiation. They also sent monkeys to space in those suits and survived just fine. And radiation is easily blocked- thick enough clothing is all you need to shield solar radiation.
How do you explain the shuttle that exploded over the U.S., raining irradiated debris? How do you explain the I.S.S. (which I watched fly over my sky for about 4 minutes a few days ago)? How do you explain the Hubble Space Telescope? How do you explain satellite radios and cellular phones? All of those is from outer space, not "inner space" which is the atmosphere.
Humans went to space. It's mind boggling that you don't believe this. My mind is boggled.
I don't think anyone doubts the capability to put men into space. The debate remains around whether or not they had the technology in the 60s and 70s (or now even) to put men on the moon and get them back off.
I don't see how it's a debate...it happened.
I personally think they did go to the moon back then. But there are many people in our time thinking it was a hoax and it was produced in the studios of Holywood or something like that.
those are the same type of people who still believe the world is flat....
I'm rather sure we had, and have the technology for something as simple as that. I even believe we could go to Mars now, or beyond, if the people decided to put some effort into it.
