ive made a map of the city, but i cant post it, so im just gonna give some details Deepport thrives off its fishing industry. every year, fisherman from around the world come to participate in the Annual Fish Market. at this market, the fisherman trade, sell, or buy supplies from other merchants. the citizens of the city always look forward to the market, because many of the fisherman have exciting stories to tell. Deepport is divided into 5 major sections The Slums- the poorer citizens of the city live in this rough area, working hard and trying to make a living for themselves. The Military Quarter- This area of the city is riddled with weapon and armor shops, as well as a few magic shops. a large guard barracks can also be found, as well as the city's armory. The Trade Quarter- this section of town is all about bartering and selling. hundreds of merchant tents line the main highway, Merchant Avenue. Residential Area- this is where all the working middle class citizens live. you can also find a few smithys and other family owned buisinesses. Fisherman Haven- the town within the city, fisherman haven is where all the fishermen come to stay when they visit Deepport. There are a few inns, however the most prominent and succesful inn is the Merry Sailor. Being such a big city, it is odd to find out that Deepport only has 4 guilds. The Rogues Guild- a very quiet and shady guild. not much is known about them, although they suspected to be the cause of many crimes throughout the city. The Defender Guild- This guild handles all the defence matters of the city. the are composed of skilled mages, a team of archers, as well as the citizens Militia. The Merchant Guild- this guild acts as a city council. they organize the fish market and all the traders on merchant avenue. the men and women of the guild are extremly wealthy, and there have been more than a few theft and assassination cases concerning the guild. the members also live in the guild HQ. The mage Guild- also a quiet and shady guild. ironically, these quiet and reserved people make the guild HQ in a grand cathedral, overlooking the entire city. the guild tends to stay out of the city politics, instead fully focusing on their arcane craft. If this were to become an RPG, it would be set in the gigantic city. I guess some of the RPGs could be about the guilds, some could be about in- city crime. Anything really i dunno, just an idea.
