    Scar
One of the few surviving Ishbalans. His real name is never known, but he is referred to as "Scar" because of the X-shaped scar on his forehead. Scar's right arm, which is covered in an elaborate alchemical tattoo, was given to him by his brother shortly before he died. He believes himself to be an instrument of God, and kills State Alchemists by using alchemy to destroy their bodies from the inside, and can also use this power on inanimate objects as well.

    Kenshin
Kenshin was a former Imperialist assassin that went by the name "Hitokiri Battōsai". The title implies he has mastered the technique of Battoujutsu (sword drawing technique, studied in modern times as Iaijutsu) and can draw his sword with lightning speed. Hitokiri was the title given to samurai assassins.

Well I voted for Scar. I never did like Kenshin (thought he was a girl at first). Plust Scar has some pimp tings tattoo on his arm, and cool destructive power.

I voted for Kenshin because i really like how good of a fighter he is.

And its cool how he defeats enimies all the time but ussually doesn't kill them

hes also one of my favorite characters in manga and anime

I voted Scar. I'm not entirely sure why, I just like him better. I was never *tremendously* into Kenshin, although I have seen my share of episodes.

Even if I'm not a member of the Guild, I vote Kenshin. I haven't seen the episodes (unless you're counting one I saw in Japan), but I did read all the manga (in Japanese, too - what a pain in the ass.) About the only two manga I really ever liked were Rurouni Kenshin and DragonBall, and I don't really read the latter anymore.

:p I read it when I was still in elementary school. :p I still love Kenshin, though - which reminds me, I want to go do a reread with the ones where Seta Soujiro is around. I LOVE that character. :D

I like it for the historical background. At least I read it in the original language. ;)

What's that got to do with anything? A translation is a translation, and most are quite accurate, if not to say nearly 100% correct.

It's a subtle hint for YOU to learn more Japanese so I could talk to someone in my own language that's not either old or family. :p

    Lol...I'm still training.

I just realised the difference in brother and sister. I was confused because I was like...they same the same damn thing. But I realise they say "e" as "eh"...so yea seems simple, but its subtle :p

Yep, I got most of mine from my brother and his CDs (and there are still a bunch I haven't ripped yet). Asked my dad to get a couple too. >.>

Are we starting Japanese lessons? Yeaaaaaah!

The first real anime I watched was Kenshin. I still measure my anime by those standards, well story wise at least.
