Well as the topic suggests... Whos got something to say on this matter?
err? so what exactly are you asking us?
Basicly im just asking people if they have seen, done or are thinking about doing anytpe of non typical conversions. Arm positions or weapon swaps, adding parts or modifations. Just something ineteresting.
Until we get more people using teh board on a regular basis I figured id just start posting on the boards. Hopefully that will draw people in.
well i created an ork for inquisitor
legs of a space marine dreadnought
torso and arms of a ork big boss
left arm with close combat claw from a spacewolf veneralble dreadnought
and a zzap gun barrel for the gun on the right arm
not to mention a hell load of greenstuff
this is in the LOTR section so i think phantassamer wants LOTR conversions. I converted a knight of minas tirith into a makeshift knight of dol amroth first i cut a sheild off a warrior of minas tirith then painteed a blue swan over the tree nice effect trust me. then i cut the spear tip and head from a guard of the fountain court i switched heads with the knight and fountain guard then swapped speartips. finally i used greenstuff to mold a cloak which i painted regalblue then for added effect i made the wings on the helmet of the knight bend backwards ill post a pic soon
I created some high elf cavalry, it's mentioned in some issue of WD, elnaith I believe they were called.
sounds cool got any pics?
No, sadly. my dig. camera broke down some weeks ago. I'll attach some pics I got of the net one of these days.
here it is....
elven cavalry seems interesting what elves did you use high or wood?
high elves. for the underbodies I used Rohan soldiers but I kept my colourscheme to the usual gold and blue.
very impressive Finrod your a good painter!
yeah thats pretty cool, i seen the pics on the WD a while back. You did a good job matching it. at first glance it looked just like the one in WD (because of the white background) so that should be a comploment as to it looks that good.
