I think he was set up by the reds, but as far as I know the only proof we have is his word on it.
I thought that (and I'm most likely wrong, I usually am) Suian made it up to turn others against the reds, but that it turned out to really be true, but only the red/blacks knew about it. Didn't they also have something to do with Taim too? I think I just made myself more confused!
There was talk among the blacks that fled the White Tower of rescuing Taim. I'm not sure about the Red's
Hmm, ah well thanx for the help. I agree with Nyneave, i thought that Siuan made it up, but it turned out to be true.
Oh, something else, what chapter is it (i think its in LoC) where Rand talks to Herid Fel at the School in Cairhien ? Ive been wanting to re-read his "musings."
Also, could the Dragon be Reborn as a woman ? I mean, its the soul thats important, not the body, and we have Aran'gar, who is Balthamel Reborn, and quite clearly Reborn as a woman. If so, would he be protected from the Taint (by channeling saidar) or would he still channel saidin like Aran'gar ?
If all that is even possible, I mean
Who's to say that the taint is there in all ages? Perhaps we'll have a transvestite Dragon channeling a non-tainted Saidin. he he
Haha, maybe it is possible, but does anyone know the answer to my earlier question
Guys, you have got to check this art section out, absolutely amazing does not do it justice, these vivid animations, which must have taken hours if not days captures Robert Jordan's world prefectly, check it out :
The Art Of Eric Lesch
LOL, looks like something my kid would do!
Hahha, its fantastic aint it ?
Looks like South Park. lol
Question. In New Spring, Morraine frequently calls herself Lady Alys. Isn't using a false name the same as lying? Which an Aes Sedai cannto do.
Well, I haven't read NS yet, but I was under the impression that she was still an accepted during that time. Wich would mean she hadn't held the oath rod yet.
Nope, this was after she had sworn on the Oath Rod. And I think she does it once or so in the rest of the WOT series. (will check later)
She does it in the Eye Of The World, in Baerlon I think. Hmm....I never thought about this, but maybe there is some way around it, maybe her middle name is Alys or something, who knows ?
Perhaps it was Lan who said "This is the Lady Alys" and not Moiraine, therefore Moiraine is not really lying ? I don't know. Ask RJ.
(I have yet to read NS) Did she directly say I am the Lady Alys, or did she say something along the lines "You may call me Lady Alys."? There are plenty of ways to make a lie through a true statement and Aes Sedai just happen to be professionals at that. ^_^
Elan, I'm working on backtracking through the books to help you find the chapter about Herid Fel you are looking for. I'm pretty sure it is in Lord Of Chaos like you said but I didn't find it the first time skimming through so I'm going to check Fires of Heaven too.
I think I remember it being in one of those two books also. Should find it there.
It's a hard little passage to find, but I'll spot it eventually.
Cool, thanks for the effort guys. I found it the other day and re-read it, but i can't remember where it is. Its definently in LoC, if you want to find it, use a chapter summary to find it. Try Dragonmount of Wotmania.com !
Btw, did we ever find out who the pack of Darkhounds were after in CoT ? I can't remember, I don't think we know do we ? Who do you think ?
Separate names with a comma.
