    It's ok.

In the most layman terms. People with magical eye stuff have abilities and go forth and start pwning shit.

Then again, I haven't bothered to finish it, since I had started getting the anime's of One Piece lol.

You see, I didn't really watch One Piece so much as read it. Well actually I lie, I did watch it and I hated it. I thought the art sucked, and the childishness put me off.

Then I read the manga and gave it a second go. I now understand why One Piece is the highest rated manga in Japan. It is just too godly epic, the artstyle grows on you and becomes awesome and lulz. The super amounts of hilarity balanced by the epic serious battles aswell as the non-generic-shonen-conforming storyline/plot/ideas just make it awesome.

One Piece winning on it's originality. They all start off well then just turn into DBZ clones (shonens that is), but OP refuses to conform. God the randomness and diversity of the ideas is amazing. Always something new.

Anyway sorry, this is really a Code Geass thread.

Never got into Code Geass. Watched a few episodes and had to stop due to schedule conflict and was never bothered to get back into it. -shrug-

since i am not a member of this guild i do not know if it is legal for me to share my opinions on the matter, but i will anyway. code geass is the best anime i have ever seen. i have seen both seasons of the sub'd version and if you have never seen it, or never bothered to finish the series you are doing yourself a great disservice. i really cannot get into the reasons why i believe this because i do not want to spoil a single moment. the twists and turns, it is one serious ride, that is all i can say. watch dammit!

the only downside, as a result of watching it, i have yet to find another anime that is as good.

I've only seen a couple clips online but wasn't sure if it was worth purchasing the DVDs, but if it ain't bad perhaps I will pick it up.

Blackness, if you thought season 1 was wow hurry up and watch R2 cuz it's fairly mind-blowing. The end is just beautiful. I don't know how else to describe it. I'd say Code Geass ranks right up there with Fullmetal Alchemist as the best I've seen, my favorites, and shows that ultimately transcended the anime genre and were simply fantastic, intellectual, and deeply emotional storytelling that happened to be in an animated format.

I finished watching Code Geass and CG: R2 and I must admit it was pretty good imo. I like the storyline and the unexpected plot twists. There was a good balance between violence/fighting and everything else which appealed to me. Glad I watched it :D

hmmm I got to see some of it in the end - I liked it they had a plausable reason for the oversmart teenager angle (as opposed to Death Note where whilst I do like it the whole ultrasmart teenager part starts to grate on me after a little while).
I could probably see the rest without much pain, but it didn't grip me that hard - a good Anime as seen part way through (maybe the ending might make me more a fan )

It took me a good 6 or so episodes to get hooked on it, as theres no real factor in the beginning to keep you hooked. But around episodes six and seven is where it really gets interesting, and the plot keeps you hooked all the way through. And the ending. Gosh *pain* the ending. I feel like choking up just thinking about it...*listens to the music* T^T
