WOW. I'm speechless. Those drawings are absolutely fantastic, Coconut-CocaCola
More amazing stuff! I love the bird wings on the ravens!!!
These are really amazing pictures. I'll have to contact you how much you ask for a commission lol.
Ephemeral: Well I did read a lot of old classic Doctor Who novels, so I may have been influenced by their style ^^!
Oddrun: Thank you very much
S.J. Faerlind: Thank you! They were not supposed to be so colorful at first, but I just love to put a bunch of colors on my artworks !
Anakin: For drawings / paintings in the style of my previous post, it goes around 250 $. But I warn, we me you have to be prepared to wait some months before seeing the colors of your commissions.
Here's a list of the works I have to do for now, to help myself, and add you if you are really serious about a commission.
-Fourth Doctor book cover (commission) - Done (I will post it in DA and here as soon as I will have the camera to do so)
-Second Doctor (contest prize) - Ongoing (time limit: next week)
-Steel and dragons (sketch - contest prize) (time limit: halloween)
-Design for mascot (commission)
and the maybe/future commissions
-the photographer of my cosplay
So here comes my bunch of Doctor Who, done between 2010 and this summer (sorry I'm too lazy to write something on each of them XD):
awesome drawings...as usual. I recognize the curly-haired doctor as the one I grew up watching on TV
will you draw new doctor?
S. J. F: Yes! It s Tom Baker, the Fourth Doctor ^^! He is also the most popular of the classic series and the one who kept his role for the longest time. Quite the crazy doctor (well they all are! XD)
JNK: You mean the new-new Doctor^ The old one that is coming up fter Matt Smith. Sure, I ll draw him, once I get to watch some of his episodes, enough to adore a new doctor once again !
My painiting is coming... Sorry for the wait, I forgot to take the picture yesterday XD.
Each time I take pictures of larger works, I m not happy with the results. There should be super huge scanners out there!!! TT_TT
Oh well... here is another work (Doctor who of course) in watercolors
Wow... the planes and angles in that dinosaur head are amazing!
You aren't afraid of giving them actual proper facial expressions. I love this about your art.
Hehe! If we talk about facial expressions, you re gonna like my next painting XD! (If I don t keep forgetting it at school )
Expressions are fun to draw, that s why I love drawing the old doctors (so many faces! )
Another school project (last year)
So this is a representation of a solar system in the representation of a solar system in my representation of the solar system in the solar system.
And another acrylic painting... about doctor who
That solar system one is absolutely amazing! The idea of it is great on its own, but your skill just made it a beautiful piece to contemplate.
Thank you!!! When I told the title of the thing in my presention in front of my class, they lost me XD.
Also, what do you guys think:
Do you prefer my pencil-color pencils work like orochimaru, or my acrylic paintings... I ve been painting recently and I am beginning to like it .
Hmmm... that's a tough one. I think both mediums have their qualities. I'm going to lean in favour of acrylics though. I've always wanted to try them but never got around to it.
Your work looks amazing no matter what artistic medium you use though. Has there been anything else like charcoals or watercolours or something similar that you've tried but haven't gotten the hang of yet?
Watercolors yes, you've seen it with Fourth Doctor and the Dinosaur, and that first painting with the Rose and Snake in the first page. As for charcoal... I only use it when I'm forced too in my class... It is just way to easy to make a mess with it XD.
Wow..neat morphing picture of the man into the bat. I love that kind of stuff!
As a male, I'll have to go for the pencil Apparently we prefer pencil over acrylic and black & white over colour (when it comes to art that is).
Such amazing work, Coconut!
