Can anyone explain to me this: Boromir/Faramir Picture

It's one page on from the link that was posted earlier in this thread. It says the picture is expected to be on the TTT Extended DVD. Is it supposed to be a flash back/dream or something cause correct me if I'm wrong Boromir went over Rauros (already dead)?

    :D

By the way is Dutch a very easy language to read? Cause I found it easy enough to read some of what you wrote. The short one with "een bel" seemed to make sense to me anyhow.

That just me or how did Americans find it? (I will admit to knowing 4 languages so that might have helped but they're not very closely related to Dutch-English seemed the most helpful, I also know Irish, Spanish and French all to some extent anyhow)

Well, I think it's remarkable that you, as an Irishman, managed to read something in Dutch. I think it's fairly difficult for an american to read anything in this language, I know I found it hard to learn and read when I moved to the Netherlands after living in the states for 12 years. now that's six years ago and I speak Dutch very well now thanks to reading a lot of dutch translations of Tolkiens work but it took some great pains.
with ''een bel'' I take it you mean the reply that Glorfy of Imladris wrote. ''een bel'' in dutch simply means ''a bell'' in English but Glorfy actually said ''een Belg'' with which he stated that he lives in Belgium.

Sorry I was too lazy to search for the quote but yes een Belg I did translate properly. I read some German a little while back and was thinking how easy it was to understand, for a general simple enuf sentance.

I'm not saying it's easy. I shoulda been a linguist though. I was always very good with languages but then 1 bad French teacher, for two years, and getting lazy with Spanish a few years later meant I lost my knack for it.

I Love languages. Elvish being one of the most, probably the most, beautiful language I've ever heard. Would love to learn Russian too and some ancient languages.

*makes a mental note: "Get a life"*
