Oh my god this looks so good!!!

I was sceptical how they'd be able to make the first Cap movie relevant to today's audiences, considering he was of a time that no longer existed. But they did a great job.
And Winter Soldier is my favourite Marvel movie so far. It really impressed me hugely.

Civil War looks to be on the right track too. Can't wait!

I read the Civil War story arc, which was huge. You can't cover that in one film. If you ignore the comics, then this might become a good film. I just wish they wouldn't be in such a hurry to cover it in one film. And last I'm a big Spider-Man fan. He had an important part in this story arc. Where is he?

I don't expect the film to be a copycat adaptation of the comics. Mainly because there is not much of a precedent for it.

It is interested to note that they are syncing the release in such a way that it arrives at a time in which Civil Rights are under siege, with all the rulers reclaiming the ban of cyber-security tools, warrantless phone tapping etc. Although some could claim that Civil Rights are always under siege :p

It won't be a direct copy of the comic book plot but using it as the core inspiration, good guys fighting each other and having to choose sides.

Spiderman will appear in the movie but I'm not sure how big a part he'll play. In this version of him he's only supposed to be about 15? Just starting out on his own superhero journey maybe, and along comes this registration act that wants to unmask him

I hope he plays a better part than he did in the last Spiderman film.

This makes me wonder when are they going to make the Secret Wars film, and how...

I watched the trailer at a cinema recently. At the very least, it looked well produced.

I had heard they'd wanted to include Spider-Man in this one, but I had totally forgotten about it, so the end of the trailer was quite surprising. I'm not a big fan of Spider-Man, but still very curious about this one, and also a little hyped for the film. :D

I watched it a couple of weeks ago, but had totally forgotten about this thread. I liked it a lot, not sure whether I'd say it's my favourite Marvel film, but then again I've given up on maintaining rankings of the films I've seen. :D
Anyway, I thought it was very well done and addressed some very serious issues, which is nice for a change. I've even seen people seriously argue about who is right. Anyway², awesome film!

    Also, that helicopter scene... <3

I liked it, but it's definitely not as good as Winter Soldier was.

I recently watched it. It was totally worth my time, but some Marvel-maniacs will have a hard time with some points.

    SPOILERS AHEAD
Nobody in his right mind would believe Captain America can beat Iron Man in a fist battle.

I really liked it, but as someone who isn't familiar with the civil war story line I have a really hard time envisioning where the Marvel Universe goes from here.

I didn't really care for the new Spiderman though.

Yes, Spiderman was very weak. Part of the problem is that we have already seen many Spiderman failures. I am getting a bit tired of Spidey.
