I think Australia, the further you get away from America, the better :p

Uh, I had to vote for Canada since I am from there......I of course love Australia too! My brother lives there and I spent three weeks visiting at the end of last year....

To the Americans who have not been up to visit our fair country, I would invite you to-you'd find it MUCH different than you think....and our beer is waaaaaaaaaay better!

I've found little drinkable beer from anywhere east of the English Channel.

French beer is beer? Are you sure?

    Alchemist,

I assume you're referring to Mexican beers, some of which are drinkable.

Ditto. For me, a good bitter is best, but you can hardly find one in a pub here.

I voted for Canada because I'm patriotic, though I've not yet been to Australia I really want to, heard such great things about it.

Also, Canada isn't all French. Just Quebec, New Brunswick is bilingual, the rest is English.

I'm a proud Canadian, but don't hold anything against other nations as everyone country has its good points.

Also... to judge a country on its beer, ouch. Maybe someone should check into some AA meetings.

I feel sort of bad and unfair in my vote.

I voted Australia ... based on what I've seen and heard in books, movies, those who have been, Australians I've met, and online. I, however, have never been there.

However, I have been to Canada. Many times. To four different provinces, several different cities. The people were nice. We crossed the Canadian Rockies. Saw the Northern lights.

But it didn't make me go "Wow!" the way other places ... like Ireland ... did.

I think Australia would make me go "Wow!".

This illustrates my opinion of the two places. I think I would rather go to Australia on Vacation, but I would rather live in Canada.
