Hmmm I think I know the site you're thinking of-only one I've seen-but it's rather disappointing. Is the Mirkwood bow that bad?! It's gold painted design on it. It looks cheap, sorta tasky.

I must watch LOTR again to see if it is that bad but I doubt it. The Ranger's Bow is just a long bow. Nothing special-on the website I mean.

The Lothlorien bow is my main interest. It's just so cool. The design is fantastic.

Legolas' Lothlorien Equipment (There's a higher res version of it in the Gallery. I linked to the lower res version cause not everyone has broadband!)

Well, personally the Mirkwood bow looks pretty sweet to me, witht he recruved look going on and all, they got a really crappy version of the Lothlerien bow out, not as good as the picture in your post.

Could you also PM me the link in case it's a different one to the one I have please? Don't remember them having two bows. Just a "Legolas" bow...

    Thanks.

I have moved this thread to the Poll area where it belongs, I don't want to sound mean, but the next time I find a poll in the Gen Tolkien or LOTR weapons I will delete it and not move it. OKIE DOKY. :alien: :draught: :hackit:

I love all things Haldir, so there's no going wrong with that.

But I would LOVE the Galadhrim bow. Not Legolas's, but the big recurves. Those are magnificent. I'd even take a non-functional one as long as it looked good. I'm trying to make one myself, but since I don't have the tools or the knowledge, I'm thinking I'll have to go with an apoxy.

I actually made a Haldiresque costume with cape for the Tuesday Trilogy.

Pity that they'll probably never get made seeing as United Cutlery has ceased production of everything LOTR except Anduril :-( I was always hanging out for a reproduction of the bow that Legolas gets from Galadriel, even if it was a non-firing version. Oh well....

No matter if production is stopped but I voted for the Lothlorian cloak to conceal myself and the sword to attack in guerialla way.
