Best Harry Potter book? And please have some motivation to.
the last... 'cause it's most mature... basically normal grownup fantasy...
SPOILERS for those who havent read/seen the 3rd book/movie
Hard one, everyone is really special, its a great series. Although I liked the third one, cause its filled with Harry being defiant, doing balloon magic on the aunt, then running off, instead of taking the Dursleys shit. And hermione smacked malfoy in the face (wohoo)
It's exciting cause of Sirius and in the beginning you dont know what Sirius objectives are (unless you've read the books of course). There's dementors being annoying, fat ladies almost ripped up and Harry gets the marauders map and is all kinds of mischievous. Plus, lupin is in it, i love professor lupin. Snape, lupin and pettigrew.. things unfolding for real in the third book. Hermiones hourglass and going back in time, rescuing people and animals. All in all, I find this book really intricate and filled with adventure, action and some really nice moments with Harry and Sirius.
I'd say the sixth(haven't read them all though), but the movie was horrible. I cant really remember why I liked it the most though....
I would say chamber of secrets, because Harry knows Hogwarts know but isn`t to old, and haven`t become the master wizard yet. And know more about the beginning of Hogwarts and Voldemorts past, was really interesting.
hm i think the first book in every serie is most time the best ^^
but in that case i also think the third one is good ^^
but just because of the plot ^^ it is the only book not about voldemord in general
I liked the third and first (in that order). After that I felt like it got sort of commercial: followed trends and all that, whilst it was special at the beginning.
The third one is my favourite. I love how Jo wrote the whole time-travelling aspect of it. It's also the first book where I think Hermione got really bad ass. It introduces Sirius, and well, it's just amazing.
yeah i think in the third one happens so much that is very important for the following harrys godfather shows off and the whole werewolf stuff ^^
another question do u hear the audiobooks of hp?
I've never read any of the HP books... but have listened to the entire series on audio. They are the best of the best of any audiobooks I've ever listened to. The guy who does the reading has the various voices down perfectly.
And my favorite HP book is Goblet of Fire.
yeah i also just read a few books but not all the audio books are perfect to fall asleep xD not that its boring but u can relax while listening ^^
from the audio books i thnk fifth and third is best cause very much happens there and well i dont know i just think there good to listen to xD
The first, because it was the introduction to some amazing characters and a world that was new. Other than that, bloat and trending. Fave movie was the Goblet of Fire coz it was cool and Cedric dies (made me cry in the book, but in the movie it was the sparkly vampire guy so it makes me lol)
yeah but if i listen to the first book i only hear first chapter then i fall asleep xD next day i do the same because the first part how she made the introduction and everything is sooo good written ^-^
I liked the Prisoner of Azkaban more than any of them.
I started reading HP quite late (14) and the Pishloper's stone seemed to be for kids around the age of 10... So I didn't enjoy it that much.
They all kind of have their right age to read.
i dont think so of course it was made for kids but my mother also read them and in the end these books were rather long for kids maybe too long so i think it is for people in every age ^^ even the first part but u also have to think of the characters i mean harry was eleven and while reading this books you join him through his adventure so it has to be a little bit like this ^^
Goblet of fire;I dont know, just seems so.
The Goblet of fire was an really good book, but one thing I didn't like was that all the focus was on the competition. No exploring of hogwarts and not so much on lessons either, bit it was the book where Voldemort returned and lot's of amazing stuff.
My favourite is the Order of the Phoenix and The Half Blood Prince.
TOFTP is the biggest book, and so much happens in it! I love how they all come together to hate Umbridge, and when they start Dumbledore's Army, and I just love Grimmauld's Place. I really like how Harry is so angry, beacause finally we get another protagonist, not the perfect shy boy, but one that actually shows some real teenager emotions. This is also the book that makes me cry the most, when Sirius dies.
THBP is wonderful, because things are happening, and they are still at Hogwarts. I also cry from this book, when Dumbledore dies, and I remember the first time I read it, and the seventh book hadn't been written yet, I was so pissed at Harry for braking up with Ginny!
I like the last bok as well, but too many dies
The deaths in the last book seemed to me like she'd just picked them out of the hat.
The way the first was written... it seemed simpler than most books I've read. For example, Jules Verne's books are for the ages between 12-16. His books were wayyyy more complex than HP1
