    He's certainly on top of my list, Tim Burton. His style is so recognizable that he just knows to leave his signature behind on every movie he makes and every music he adds. I think he only didn't use Danny Elfman on two or three occasions such as Ed Wood and Sweeney Todd.

    Riddley Scott's movies are some of the best I've ever seen. He gets my vote.

    I've never enjoyed Tim Burton enough, even though my fiancee loves him. I however love Ridley Scott's material. Kingdom of Heaven (the directors cut is the only good version) Black Hawk Down, Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, Body of Lies... plenty of really good movies that I've quite enjoyed.

    I also enjoy James Cameron... before his fascination with the Titanic took over. Aliens, the Terminator movies, they were all good.

    Still, Ridley Scott has my vote... his brother Tony isn't bad either. Distinctive style.
