    Hello!

    Could someone help me :)
I'm researching a history (origins) of a Hungarian noble family - BATHORY

I found all over internet information's that Bathory family belonged to the Gutkeled, a clan of Hungarian nobles, which traced its descent to the Swabian brothers Gut and Kelad. They immigrated into Hungary during the reign of King Peter (reigned 1038-1046)...

But, I have another (indirect) information that they are actually from Venice (Italy)?!
Anyone with a useful link or tip???

    THANX!

Stay alive may have been based around the blood countess, never saw that movie myself, but she was a real person and is nearly as commonly referenced as Vlad Tempes in vampire myths

I saw that movie. It's about the countess Elizabeth Bathory, but Bathory doesn't sound much like a Hungarian last name
