Sweeet. And no Ranger outfit is complete without a battle-ready girlfriend lol :D

Is that real mail or only partial ala Boromir's costume?

I took a guess that it'd be the real deal :) What does it weigh, being stainless? I've only got experience with mild steel.

Was the stainless hard to work with? I've tried cutting stainless wire before and it's a real bugger, did you buy the rings pre-cut and make it yourself or buy the shirt already assembled?
The hauberk I'm having made is just made from 2mm galvanised fence wire, but eventually the galvanising comes off and the rings dull. Stainless would avoid that but cost is a limiting factor.

10lbs? *sigh* If only stainless were more affordable. I'm thin but tall, so my elbow-to-knee hauberk will weight about 30lbs+ using the mild steel. But the 45lb loop of wire only cost me about $60, so it's a tradeoff.
