I like that one Curufeanor just posted. It looked really good
Hello all...I am the armourer at Stelter Creative Woodworks, the maker of the first Witchking Costume posted by DWARF TOSSER. I would like to thank DT and those who posted the nice compliments to my work, I appreciate it! I found you guys through my websites site statistics page, thanks for all the hits...I wanted to comment on CURUFEANOR's last picture posted...the one that a few of you liked better...that is actually my helm, it's one of the first pictures I ever posted, it has the 5/16" spikes instead of the new 1/2" thicker spikes I now use. I also just came into some great new reference material from ROTK so I have changed a few more details, I will be posting new picures soon, I now feel that it is 100% screen accurate. CURUFEANOR also stated that my WK gauntlets were not right, actually they are made from screen shots from The Two Towers and are 100% accurate, if you compare them to my basic Ringwraith gauntlets the differences are very noticeable(see picture below). Well that is all I wanted to say, once again I appreciate the interest in my work. Jeff
How do you order from kropserkel I asked how but the guy doesn;t help at all can somebody pm how to order items from them?
If you emailed them, just give them time to reply. I waited over a month for a reply, and when I got it, they provided all the info you'll ever need.
For those of you who didn't like the WK helm, take a look at their upper arm armour - it's frickin' amazing.
They just send me back to the homepage every time that;s why I asked he or she is NO HELP AT ALL
Well that's strange. They sent me a complete price list, order form, payment details, etc.
In my dealings with Kropsekel, they have always been extremely prompt and helpful with their responses, forwarding all the info I need. I'm in contact with Scott Maple at the moment over an item I've commissioned, and I've had no problems whatsoever.
I'm sorry you're having a lousy experience...
could you copy a price list and pm it to me?
Well, I would, only I've emptied my email account recently, but Valkrist can probably help you out.
One bit of advice - make sure you're sitting down before you read it!
Sheesh - these boards are really quiet these days. What's happening?!?
I'm interested in their gauntlets but I get the feeling that they're a little on the horrendously expensive side. Still, they're tempting...
As for why it's so quiet here: rule enforcement. There's not supposed to be any more speculation, rumour, poor spelling, bad grammar, discussion of prices, questions, or multiple threads about a single item, which leaves us with the 3 or 4 posts per day that we now have.
If I remember correctly, the gauntlets are something like 8-900 Dollars.
As for the rules, I think they're really <CENSORED> and a load of <CENSORED>, but that's just my opinion.
I know I should only check weekly instead of daily for replys we need more members
It is sort of depressing. I remember when I would come on and have a lot of new posts to read every day, and lots of things to respond to. Now it seems like I can miss a couple weeks and it is no big deal. I think part of it is that there are less people into these things since the movies are over.
800-900 bucks for the gauntlets?? I guess that's fair, but I would rather buy a whole bunch of UC and Sideshow stuff instead.
Yes it is slow right now but this time of the year is normal for internet to be slow. Schools are getting ready to turn out. pwoplw are getting ready for vacations. ANd most will be on vacations over the next couple of months during the first of summer. THis is not unusual for this time of year.
But we do need to get back on the subject here please.
I just ordered the WK gauntlets, and yes, they are over $900. I should point out that Kropserkel only does commission work and they judge whether to take a job on a case-by-case basis. This is why I hesitate to mail price lists to anyone, as they do this in confidence and may refuse work at their discretion.
For this reason, I think you should continue to try and establish two-way contact with Scott and obtain the info you require straight from him. I can vouch for the exceptional quality of their work, as I already own some pieces. You will not be disappointed... but be prepared to pay for that high standard.
Is the Witchking's arm armor available for purchase from Kropserkel?
It'll be along soon I think.
Yes, it is available, as is the leg armour and helmet.
Note that the gauntlets in the picture are separate from the arm armour.
Witchking arm armour
I'd get the helmet from realm-or-creation, Kropserkel's is very inaccurate with respect to the film, but I'll definately get the Witchking's arm assemblage from him, thanks!
