Have you tried to get them to..errrrrrmm....just read it.
Then they will know.
I think we need a t.v. season per book...
They think a 300 page book is a really huge book, so I think that's quite impossible
They aren't your real friends.
A 52-week t.v. season per book?
One episode for each chapter?
I wish they would just take the story (all the books) as one whole entity and then break that up into different episodes and seasons. Saying one season per book is silly, different books run differently, some will have page after page of non-stop action, others longer sections of description and sene setting (so about 10 second of panning on the screen). The result is that some seasons will wander and flounder as the writers try and fill it up, and others will feel squashed.
I will aproach these with aprihension, I am not currently a big fan of what is comming out of the majority of the american film industry. (the terminator thread shows what it is doing to me)
If it's going to be as good as Rome... no worries!
I concurr, if HBOs production standards are the same as those with rome it should be worthy of the books, now we just need writing, directing and casting left to do.
They don't have to do the casting anymore. We've done that already for them
Can we write and direct too?
uh uh I wanna play Bron
Haha, if you're Bronn, I'll be Cersei
So, who wants to be Littlefinger? :devilbat:
I'll do my best to play Renly if it means making out with Loras Tyrell.
Lol, you make a good point App... *drools*
