i think it's DENETHOR's sword.....
no. I've seen a full pic on Denethor's sword(which is very beautiful by the way) but this is def. not it.
can u post a pic of it finrod?
Sure, gimme a moment
darn it, I tried but somehow the image won't appear in the gallery.
could someone who owns the lotr weapons and warfare book please post an image of Denethor's sword?
why not post an attachment to it finney?
Here, I scanned it.
That sword looks pretty nice. I wonder why Gandalf rode with that sword instead of Glamdring...
thank you Observer. Nice sword eh?
ehmmmmm... tenaka, this sword is Denethors.
well Byz. it's here, we can thank observer for that. ( somehow I always fail in posting pics).
I have a gut feeling you'll like it, being a die-hard Gondorian.
Yet another one for UC to produce.
It is a beautiful swords... It remembers me a little to the one from Boromir, I guess this is not a coincidence... Maybe by the shape of the blade.
Yes Finrod it somehow looks familiar
It is defiantly not Faramirs sword. His sword has a distinct single acorn nut pommel, similar to old style Viking swords. Those types of pommel nuts varied from one to three nuts on the pommels. This one does not have that unique style. It does look Gondorian however from what I can see of the pommel, similar to Arogorn's Ranger sword. I am not certain who was the wielder of this sword or what type or race created it, but it is not Faramirs
Here is a picture of Faramir's Sword
And here is a close up of the hilt
And besides you said that this is a collection of the weapons from The Fellowship of the Ring. I don't think Faramir was in that movie, or am I mistaken
no, he was not.
so it IS Gandys riding sword well i guess GUESS mind you that the mystery is solved.
Faramirs sword kinda looks like mine which i know Finrod has seen
That's correct! You know, that even went through my mind for a moment when I saw your sword, Byz.
