I've never ordered from them online, but I've had good experiences with Fast Food Anime at conventions several time, and their prices aren't bad at all. I know at conventions, the manga (and maybe the anime too-can't remember) is usually a bit discounted, but I don't know if that is con specific.

I like to keep my eyes open for sales from the distributors themselves. ADV has a sale every major holiday. While you won't always get brand new titles you can snag some boxsets for cheap on something you normally wouldn't have bought.

Yorokonde - Anime anytime has some great stuff relating to anime, but not much anime itself.
Unfortunately when you're buying anime online, you're more likely to get parts and pieces of the better/longer ones than you are to find sellers for entire series.

Yep. If you sign up for their newsletter they will spam you every holiday with their big sales. One of the others had a big sale on as well. It was something like 10 titles for 75$(us). I wasn't able to take advantage of it but the distributors I know of are manga, central park media, advfilms, funimation, viz video (which is part of media blasters I think) urbanvision. Keep your eyes on them.
