    Well I was perusing SFI today as is my habit to on occasion and I happened upon a thread in which the author of an informative article had posted a link to his article.

    It’s not however a direct link one must click the link to the article itself, as this is only the link to homepage/sidebar thingamajigger

    And I figured there would be a few who might be interested in it so I posted it here in the general weapons& armor....

    Neat articles! I read as much as I can about Landesknecht greatswords, and it's nice to read a good article involving them. Thanks, Cudgel!

    well i suppose that is a good reason... and that did have a lot of stuff that i did not know, like pattern welding, i never thought that european blades were on par with japanese... well, you learn something new everyday.

    That's because european swords have never been used in manga to cut through buildings and the earth's core etc :rolleyes:

    Meh, I never even read manga before this year, and I'm talking just my knowledge of weapons, which appearantly is desperately lacking. But I guess I can blame the media for that, after all, ya gotta blame someone.
