    Yeah Mem. I look considerably less awesome for real, so to have that as the mental image people get of me is a good thing.

    You guys are ridiculously illiterate. I've never even read Hamlet and I still recognized it.

    Yeah, it kind of makes me sad to see how few people got it. I think Herald was the first one to do so, and even then it was after Kelmourne said it was Shakespeare. It only took me about two weeks after pulling the name out of thin air to get it, someone asking if it was pronounced with a Y sound or J sound. And I've never read Hamlet either (although I was supposed to for a high school English class...).

    It's just one of those famous Shakespeare lines that almost everyone knows, or so I thought. To be, or not to be; What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet; The lady doth protest too much; Now is the winter of our discontent.... All those off the top of my head and I've never actually read or seen a Shakespeare play. And the Yorick line was another. It's just sad that so many people failed at knowing such a famous line...

    /end elitist rant

    Actually, I prefer my sarcasm dry and hard to detect. Luckily for me, sarcasm doesn't translate well over the internet, so I always get my way with it. Like my little elitist rant... Was I really annoyed, or was it sarcasm? :rolleyes:

    It's not elitist if it's true.

    You have a point there... I think I'll have to use a Shakespeare quote in response to everything else in this thread, just to show how not elitist I am.

    Lord, what fools these mortals be!

    I got the quote, but I wasn't sure what was going on besides a random reference to Shakespeare.

    *clears his throat for his recitation*

    Let me not to the marriage of true minds
    Admit impediments. Love is not love
    Which alters when it alteration finds,
    Or bends with the remover to remove.
    O no, it is an ever-fixèd mark
    That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
    It is the star to every wand'ring bark,
    Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.

    Done to death by slanderous tongue was the hero that here lies...
