    Here's a few photos of a piece I recently received from a friend of mine, Eric McHugh.

    Eric based this recreation on an original he was able to study during his last research trip to europe.

    The axe is made in the traditional multi-piece method, consisting of a mild steel socket and body forge welded to a high carbon steel edge.
