I was just checking with my source for books and they said that Feast For Crows was delayed again....I checked with some online sites and they said the same thing....It appears we won't get to read it till November 8, 2005.....Will this book ever even come out...??? What to you all think about this...did any of you even hear about this...???

PS i think it was supposed to come out like July 20.....not anymore....

Well, as far as I'm concerned (insert a long list of profanity here) take that who ever delayed this thing. I was really getting pumped up about it too.

It was suppose to be published in fall of this year, so it's not delayed at all, because it was never suppose to have a summer release. But, it's only half of the intended AFFC, not in chronological order but by POVs.

    Read about it here:
    http://georgerrmartin.com/nextbook.html

So that Nov. 8 release date probably isn't set in stone, it's likely that they're still editing it.

I don't know that that holds much relevance to the delayed release since it was published before the delay. What I do know is that every bookseller I looked up online had the release date in late July, now they all say 11-8. :(

Never trust amazon or the like's release dates, anyway. They're just bullshit guesses, and are hardly accurate unless the book is in the hands of the publisher at the time, which wasn't the case on the July date.

GRRM just finished the book and sent it to his publishers near the end May, and has stated it will be a fall release date. This is the only official release date that has been given.

According to Amazon AFfC has been published at least 3-4 times during the past years, I believe. Trust nothing but www.georgerrmartin.com.

I'm just about finished with A Storm of Swords. I know that I will be re-reading the first two books to pick up anything I may have missed or lost before A Feast of Crows comes out. Though I am a little disappointed that there will not be much if any at all of Daenerys in Feast. Her story is probably my favorite in the series. But Martin does not let me down in the Westeros stories and POV's either.

I have no idea but if you visit www.georgemartin.com there is a section called Fire and Ice Update. I think he will announce a more solid release date there, first. All I really know is that the suspense is killing me.

*falls to the floor and starts sobbing* I might as well reread the whole thing, to freshen up the story in the summer...

Its still being written. I wouldn't really expect it until 08 at this point I think.
