Not that any of you, actually, you know, watch anime in English (to be fair, I usually don't either, but this as well as most of the other stuff I've watched that he's in, like Hellsing and Eureka 7, are generally regarded as having really good dubs. Heck, Hellsing is generally regarded as being BETTER than the original Japanese).

My anime club imported him from LA to do a couple of panels and stuff. He was really nice, and seemed like an awesome person.

For those that care, he's Kyon in the English dub of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Can't wait for that, the cast looks amazing.

Edit: URK! changing pic size. . .

For the record I watch my anime dubbed unless it is unavailable dubbed like memories or GITS 2:Innocence.
And I care. That's cool that you got to meet someone in that industry.

Yay! He was really nice, it was awesome to get to meet him outside of a con setting. They're dubbing Innocence, btw, so it will be available in English. Its got the same cast as SAC, I'm pretty sure. I've been holding off buying it until I can get it without the ridiculous closed captioning they tried to pass off as subtitles.

I couldn't wait when it came out so I snapped it up with the bad subtitles.
Conventions and signings and settings like that end up being so impersonal if they are in high demand.

I watched Subbed. The original always has the original feel. I just hate the pronunciation of many of the things said by american actors lol

I usually watch subbed myself. GITS can go wither way for me, depending, because its a pretty damn good dub.
