Strider will become famous, soon enough!
They have to show the Grey Havens. They keep mentioning the time of the elves is up so he has to show all elves leaving.

Also I heard he is going to show the death scene of Aragorn and Arwen but being they already showed his funeral, that may be the scene they were talking about.

*** MINOR SPOILER ****

PJ has said that the Grey Havens scene is his favourite of the 3 movies, so I take that to mean that they filmed it and it'll be in the cinema release. I wouldn't be surprised if the emotional farewell of Frodo et all sailing off to the Grey Havens is the fadeout scene to end the trilogy. Take your Kleenex people!

Yes. In the LOTR making of the trilogy book it mentions that another of the huge miniatures is the grey havens.

The movies may have ended.... [tho we'll always have our numerous copies ] ....but there's always the source material, the original text?... Did anyone forget to acknowledge Tolkien here? What do you mean it's over!? It's never left us and it never will..... But I can see what you mean? ...the whole excitement and anticipation we've pent up over the last 3 yrs, I will miss that constant anxiety I have so too grown to depend on.

I agree. I will miss the excitement of anticipation. The book will still be there, of course, though.

Really looking forward to the Grey Havens scene also! I'll need a whole box of Kleenex to myself.

Hi!
I've just seen the grey havens.. It's kind like Rivendell, but where Rivendell is made out of wood, the Grey Havens are made out of stone (because it's near the ocean). It's colors are grey stone.. I wonder if we'll see the Undying Lands, while we're at it?? ehhe..

i doubt it, but i know for sure the grey havens have been filmed, so if theyre not in the theatrical version, theyll be in the EE.

even though the movies will be coming to an end , we will have to wait another year to get the EE edition. so see all th e deletated parts.

So I don't think this will end so. There are too many things out there to collect.
I hope it stays alive for a long time & i know it will be #1 in our house!

My guess is that there will be no Aragorn and Arwen death in the movie. Weren't those in the appendix anyway? My guess is that the gray havens will be the final scene.

". . . there's much to be said for a good sharp axe. I'd hate to be murdered with a maul. I saw a man hit in the brow with a maul once.
