Eowyn's sword

hey i just went ot blades by brown to check on the eowyn sword. and found out that they dont have it yet!!!

does anyone know when its comming out???

Éowyn's sword, if made, probably won't be out till next summer, at the earliest. I'm sure there will be a large demand for it after Éowyn's big scene in RotK!

This is actually my least favorite of the Rohirric swords. I hate the huge pommel on it, but the hilt design is nice. Still can't beat Herugrim or especially Guthwine, though!

well when i went to blades by brown, the one thing that caught my eye was that sword. I am not tall enough to hold a man's sword, and this one was the greatest thing I've seen yet. As odd as it seems, I want to use it.

I hate the pommel too but the hitl design makes it all better

Nothing wrong with the pommel in my opinion.
It is a one-handed sword after all.

Guthwine and Herugrim seem to do just fine without humongous pommels, and they look a lot better overall too! Love the double fuller!

I recently noticed, Gûd Daedheloth, that the picture you posted is not Eowyn's sword, but Theoden's. You can tell in TTT that it is his, because after Gandalf the White pulls Saruman from Theoden, he says
" Fingers would remember their strength if they grasped a sword"

And with that, the guard brings forth his sword and they get a good close up on the hilt design. Eowyn's sword it exactly like Theoden's, except the horses on the hilt are closer together. Just thought you'd like to know.......

The picture I posted in this thread? That is most definitely Éowyn's sword, my friend. That's also Éowyn's sword scabbard with it, which also looks different from Théoden's.

Herugrim's horses heads look different are touching. See?
