The spoofs of Shrek and Shrek 2

Let's number all the spoofs in the Shrek films since I'm sure that there are some scenes that some people realized are spoofs that others didn't. The list doesn't have to be in chronological order. But let's number them so that we can find out just how many there are.

Spoofs of Shrek-
1. The scene where Dragon opens her eye and looks at Donkey is a spoof from Godzilla.
2. The scene with Fiona fighting Robin Hood and his merry men is a spoof from Matrix.

Spoofs of Shrek 2-
1. The wedding ring landing on Fiona's finger is a spoof from FotR with Frodo at Bree.
2. Donkey jumping over the guards at the palace is a spoof of Arwen jumping over a log in FotR.
3. Shrek jumping up on Donkey (as a horse) is exactly how Legolas did it in TTT.
4. When the giant ginger bread man is sinking he says, "Be good"; a line from E.T.
5. The part where Fiona wipes the mud off Shrek as he hangs upside down and kisses him is from Spiderman-2.
6. The scene where Fiona and Shrek are on the beach kissing is a spoof off of the movie "From Here to Eternity".
7. Aliens spoof when Puss in Boots comes out of Shrek's shirt.
8. Mission Impossible spoof when Pinocchio rescues Shrek. (they even play the music)
9. Ghostbusters spoof with Mongo, like Stay-puff-Marshmallow-man.
10. Fairy Godmother's factory is a spoof on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory's Oompa-loompa's.
11. When all the elves fire their bolts at Shrek he does a cartwheel similar to New in Matrix.

If someone saw shrek 3D...there is a canyon the RED dragon flies in, which is based on the deathstar trench where the red fighters fly in. There are even some words that donkey says to his dragon with also match with ep IV...but I have to check out which.

I just saw Shrek II again today. Local theater in strip mall played it free for the kids.

1) Aliens spoof when Puss in Boots comes out of Shrek's shirt.
2) Mission Impossible spoof when Pinocchio rescues Shrek. (they even play the music)
3) Ghostbusters spoof with Mongo, like Stay-puff-Marshmallow-man.
4) Fairy Godmother's factory is a spoof on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory's Oompa-loompa's.

Not exactly a spoof but, when the Fairy godmother is going through fairy tales where ogres do not live happily ever after, she mentions "Pretty Woman".

Not exactly a spoff, but in Shrek 2 when Mongo is attacking the Starbucks, the terrified townspeople run across the street to... Starbucks.

AAAAND....when they're saying dragon's been all moody lately, it's cause she was pregnant, which is uber-obvious, but you may have not stayed till after the credits, in which case you are not a true Shrek fan! :P

there are all the cartoon characters and such
But are you talking about spoofs on real movies?

Yes. Take the spoof on "Alien" for example. By the way, in the scene where Charming draws his sword and gives that impressive speech in the factory, is that from a movie or did they just do that to be funny?

Well where you see Fiona change in the first film and then Shrek, Fiona and Donkey in the second---- that is based on the end of Beauty and the Beast where the Beast transforms into a human

Maybe it's from Mulan. (?) The only ones I really noticed were the ring and Fiona turning into an ogre.

Surprised nobody else picked up these three:

In shrek 2, near the begining after they return from their honeymoon, and the royal guys come, one guy plays the theme of Hawai-5-o (sp, super obvious for those who put caption on) also, shrek afterwards calls them Sargent Pompous and the Fancy pants club band, obvious refrence to beatles "Sargent pepper and the lonely hearts club band". Another obvious refrence happens in the fairy god mother's factory, after they get the potion and are running out of the room, Puss' hat flies off as a gate is slowly closing off the room, at the last second, he grabs his hat before the gate fully closes, refrence to indiana jones.
