[The peoples champion]

They where small at the start you can guess
Little army, no weapons or guns they confess
But in time they got big, and attacked most
When they seen this army they reacted like they seen a ghost

You may have laughed at the way they have looked
Then you cried before you died they showed no mercy
Red and gold and broom like brush on their head
Make fun of them you will be dead

In time they hit there prime on the line
With no idea of a game plan at first
Some compared there army as one of the worst
Once again everyone was wrong

In time they learned the art of a battle
Invested time in riding on the sattle
With swords and skives that kill like so
You thought you would never find out or know?

I forgot to tell you about the almighty arrow
From a far you could be hit, from the sky
You bleed from your chest and wonder why?
Never thought of an army with weapons and brains?

This is was a work of art, an army that was doomed to depart
Down the road they where doomed or the greed
Killing innocent people is not considered a good deed
Egos' got in the way in time this great army had to pay

With leaders in the group of war
It was the begining of what leadership was for
A word an phrase, compared to this army?
You know it they are a group to be feared

With a need of speed they would be right
A victory was always expected before next night
Im sure the enemy at the moment was not in fright
Then they seen a army with force and a mind

This was not a good sign for the others agaisnt them
Soldiers got payed and had it made
Victory can bring all your hearts desires
One false move and you are surrounded by fires

They where broken up into smaller armies
With more tactics at hand, more opportunities where open
While other armies where in a big messy bunch
Guess who was having who for lunch?

With each little army there was a purpose
A little piece of the puzzle they where
By the end of the day they made a work of art
An that is what set them from all the others apart

Thank you, i had that vibe going on about the romans. Did some research on their military and off i went.
