Hehehe looks like I have something to look forward to in a weeks time then.
And that's a shame she looked "interesting" I remember you saying about a potential spinoff series, that could be entertaining if they do it.

After "Forests of the Dead" (Library episode part two) there are four more episodes. The daughter does not show up again, but I think they've set it up so that she will do.

The next episode you have to look forward to is called "Midnight". In my opinion, it's one of the best ones they've ever made. Ever.

Lucky you, how many more is there for this season?
And does the daughter show up again?

Because it's made here we get it first, so I saw the series you're on until it finished around the end of July. In other words, I've seen all of 'em.

Paul McDermott?, I reckon he'd be a little short about it............
But seriously, that is true, I am watching the second library episode now, out of interest how far ahead are you?

Well from what I heard of him in an interview, he will keep doing it til they tell him to go, cos he loves it.

They aren't until he decides not to do it anymore. Next year will see only a few special episodes because of his new role as Hamlet, but he isn't quitting, despite a rumor with the last series.

I'll definately look into it, thanks for that btw, Do you know when they are replacing David Tennent? and with who?

Yeah, I think the DVDs might be out now too, so check those if you like, on ebay or amazon or something. The second series, like I say, was just brilliant.

Hehehe, next ep tomorrow, and an old new flame hmmmnnnnn.
I think I'll have to get around and download Torchwood, I don't think it's coming back here. Shame though.

I'll say now that the second series of Torchwood was better than the first. The second in my eyes was amazingly well written, whereas the first seemed to be like "We've got the slot, so let's see what we're allowed to do."

Library episode is immense. Keep on truckin'

Except here we only got one season of Torchwood, b4 it got cancelled because of Big Brother or some other reality crap, And we didn't get the Sarah Jane thing here thankfully by the sound of it, and the last episode we had was the first part of the Library eps.

I won't spoil the surprise if you haven't seen the last episode of the recent series.

It's obvious that the Doctor's daughter is there to create yet another spin off series like the Sarah Jane Adventures fiasco- which was completely unsuccessful. However, Torchwood did work, because it was much more adult and mature, and set in a primetime slot to give license for swearing, nudity, sex and violence.

Yeah Rose was a pretty interesting character, and I have to say she was played well, but I can't wait til Donna is gone.
I am looking forward to seeing more of the Doc's little girl.

Rose was the best of them all because she was the first of the new series at the time, and so people had thought about her story and relationship well within the grand scheme of things- with the others, you knew that they were there for the sake of being there really, and although Catherine Tate was good as Donna, she seemed to be put in because of her acclaim with her show. Martha wasn't great, to be honest.

I won't but I agree with you, good scriptwriters are hard to find methinks, or at least creative scriptwriters, but I did like the "daughter" touch to the equation, what do you think of the offsiders, I dislike the redhead, but the previous two weren't too bad, til Martha got too soppy.

Christopher Eccleston was a legend. David Tennant is immense too, and I think they've both brought real originality and charm to the modern episodes- but what I dislike is when there's no effort in the monsters or characters- case in point, adipose, and don't get me started.

Yeah some of it just lacks the substance of the previous season, I actually liked the guy that was on b4 the current guy too, and I wish that he had done it for longer.
And come to think of it neither was I, except for the reruns that they aired here.

I wasn't alive then, so I can't really judge. I think they took it off in the same year that I was born- but I am a hardcore fan of the modern ones, give or take a lot of the last series just gone.
