Hmm...I hope I haven't offended you with my stance on Iraq. Obviously, there are major differences in how the conflict is viewed depending on where one lives. It wasn't my intention to come across as anti-American, as I was speaking purely as a resident of the UK and in regard to the UK's involvement in that conflict.

Well, they do say that when writing a book the majority of effort is in arranging it in your mind; the rest is just putting it down on paper. I like to convince myself that's what I'm doing when I lie on the sofa staring into space.:D

As for the armour and suchlike: are you a medieval re-enactor or just plain kinky?

I've been writing a novel for the past decade or so, a kind of post-modern horror with elements of fantasy thrown in. The problem is I'm a rather ill-disciplined person, and so only write when the mood takes me. I may finish it before I die, but I wouldn't put money on it.

What do you do to pass the time?

I'm actually...*drum roll please*...38. Though depending on who you talk to I either look older or younger than that. My friends lie and say I look younger, acquaintances tell the truth and say I look as rough as old boots. It's a good thing I'm not too vain or I'd have developed a complex by now.:D
