hah - you busy woman, you!

There's also the possibility of reversal of the proposal in some way, ofc. Me, going off to meet a Polish woman I befriended through the internet, quite a stigma attached to that. Should totally be worth the comments I'd receive from family and friends :p

Weird. I could've sworn he was in South America somewhere. He might have been in Thailand. It's hard to keep track sometimes...

... you sure about wanting to visit me at some point in a very distant future? I'm not that interesting and, well, The Netherlands is about as exciting without me, you know?

nice. Sounds a lot like me all right, and that's not just because you just said that.

Talking about "i'm sleepy" - I had to call a guy in... I think it was Paramaribo today. I had to do that before 3, since it would be 9 where he was. Makes me think. Innit like uber late in Argentina right now?
    4. Turambar
      Turambar
you mean the ones who pretend they don't care because they're above all such?
    5. Turambar
      Turambar
hah - you had a crush on Fernando Torres, I remember. The standards, up till now, were pretty high - so no complaining from you, mademoiselle weird languages ;)
    6. Turambar
      Turambar
hahaha, you've got it pretty bad, don't you? If anything, that's is adorable ;)

      Turambar
      kekeke - you'd wish that, wouldn't you ;)

No, I'm positive I don't go wobbly in the knees about an Argentinian boy who's into Polish writers. I'm very sorry. I'll leave that sort to you, thanks all the same.

And no menages à multiples either >.>

lol - this is really bad. I've noticed that the last few weeks, Google Ads here at TFF started to suggest links to websites from which Polish women could be obtained.

Somehow, I think you're to blame for such suggestions >.>

Kekeke - it's the ONLY possible explanation.

....although it is also possibly that Prague didn't want to be the capital of a country which borders Ukraine(/Russia, which is basically the same) and was willing to sacrifice half of their territory :p

I believe that Krásna Hôrka was part of the deal, to give Slovakia at least some point of interest. It appears they thanked Prague kindly and set it ablaze. Good luck Slovakia...

Kekeke - the deeper you get into Slovakia, the more backwards people become. Yes, I think they were pretty loopy ^^

Did I ever tell I grew up with my parents having some friends at the deep end of Slovakia? I mean, really deep end, past Kosice (if that rings any bells). They always said to stay clear of the poles. Not to be trusted, them lot. Or so the story went. I suppose I've not been listening :p

I suppose Czech rep and Slovakia must be the only two befriended nations who recently decided to split, though. It's really interesting ^^

lol - best not to draw attention to the fact then - I hear the three baltic states are quite different one from another. It's rather a faux-pas to mistake them, or so I am to understand. Possibly much more different than Poland, Czech rep and Slovakia. Which, no doubt, is a big faux-pas to say as well, no? :p

I can't throw that pic away, really. For one, I still like it! And people generally tend to agree, though, after looking at it for a bit, they almost invariably ask "Is that... a Graveyard??". Which is another very good reason to stick to it ^^

      Oddie!

I still got this picture of yours hanging from my wall. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b354/alatarthesilent/DSC_1406.jpg

Funny story, Anon sent me some beers (long story) and I can remember the pic was taken somewhere in one of the baltic states. That wasn't Latvia by any chance, was it? Because that would be a rather nice coincidence ^^

      Anyways... how's Argentina?

You're going to be in Argentina for two years? Well, if that's the case I'll definitely think about it. xD

Well, the good thing is that I already have my passport, so I don't have to wait around forever for that. A passport that has never been used. Poor thing.

      Hah. Horror stories.

The secret of horror stories is that they're 10% truth and 90% fiction. I remember when I was a bit wary of travel dangers, but, as you go along, you'll find that horror stories aren't cracked up to what they are advertised to be. The secret is to act confident but at the same time keep your guard up. And enjoy, of course. I don't take you for the naive and/or overconfident girl that ends up being the star of your own horror story... So go for iiiiiit! :D

Heh, it's actually pretty close. Though to get to the...um "good" part you have to travel more central. Closer to the US/Mexico border is...well...not that...um...nice. I plan to go there some day. Still, money is a key factor...gas prices are quite high right now.

Armadillos... The armoured ones. We only have cows. And lots of them. In fact, if you see a hill in the distance, it's probably just two cows, one atop another ;)

No doubt you will be fluent in Argentinas special local dialect of the Spanish language. It's not like it's the first time you achieve that in a foreign language. Regardless, it sounds like an amazingly awesome adventure +1. Do make something of your time before you hit the college benches, travelling is the second-best thing ever and you've got an amazing contry to explore. Soooo... EXPLORE!!!!! lol.
