Hey, I don't really come on here that often either, especially as we had no power for weeks. We are okay, though. Cheers for checking in :)

When we moved from the UK we brought our dog. He didn't have to go in quarantine but he had a 28 hour plane journey and held his bladder the whole way. Poor thing! A year old - yeah he'll probably be okay. Our dog is nearly 2 and because we crate him he coped really well with the quakes whereas the neighbouring dogs have gone nuts.

Oh if he's not in Chch he'll be fine! They're basically just in the city and out in Darfield which is to the South. Marlborough isn't feeling them as far as I'm aware. We had a couple in the 3s today...they were felt but not terrible, just unnerving. geonet.org.nz logs all of the recent seismic activity so you can check out where it's happening. It's great that you're bringing your dog (dogs rule) and 30 days will just fly by, hopefully.

Yeah, we're near the city and our chimney got totalled. A few picture frames broke and a lot of mugs but we got through it okay. The aftershocks are still going, though. We've had more than 1000!

Think I'm making mine with fleece which should be soft enough to not be irratating. I might go for an extra long hood as well to give my eyes some cover.

Sounds very nice storybook like even. I think I'm going to go for a double layered grey/green type cloak so I can use it for cold nights during the winter. Not sure if I'll add any other features to it.

I do like working in this field. really, though, I think I good be just as happy anywhere in healthcare, say nursing, or any of it.

Yes, I have tons of funny stories, ranging from foreign bodies (I've imaged at least three people with vibrators inside them) to the funny stuff that people say, like the old man with sleep apnea, who kept calling it sleep acne.

I did that at one time. One of the jobs I had in X-ray school was nurse's aide at a nursing home. I walked in, and they asked if I had certification. No, but I was fresh out of the army, where I had been a medic. They hired me. It was a rewarding job, but pitiful pay for hard work.

I like to read. I want to read all day.. and all night. That would be ideal.
