That thing looks pretty complex to make from scratch without previous and extensive leatherworking experience. Gloves have to be really well made to fit every part of your hand otherwise they'll cut in and rub the skin raw just like a bad pair of shoes.

There's also some raised texturing across the back of the palm. You'd need to find some cool metal buckles, but stitching the extra leather pieces that they attach to would be the easy part.

My recommendation would be to scout motorcycle shops and look for hardcore leather gloves that go to mid-forearm. I don't think they'll be cheap, but they'll be super comfy, padded, look cool, and then all you have to do is attach the metal buckles and away you go.

not sure if they are accurate enough for you. but they have ribs on the back of the hand and could be altered with three buckled straps to be pretty close.

Yeah that Anakin glove is awesome! Especially at that price. For that price, screw modifying one yourself, just buy that one!

well, apparently from what i've read on some other sites, the glove sucks. the color is all wierd and it's made to fit everyone meaning it's huge.
