Those are really nice mate. What tools did you use? It's a bit hard to get depth from those pics. FOr the knotwork pattern, did you use the gouging tool to remove the leather like you did for the edge border and the horse mane area?

How exactly did you depress such a largish area for the insides of the horses? I had to cut out a die/stamp when doing my Faramir armour.

The knotwork pattern i cut out with a swivel knife, then beveled. As to depressing a large area, a small stamp and a big effort. :) the trick is to use a small one first, then a larger one to smooth the small mark out, then the small one again. Btw your bracers rock!

p.s. the i didnt use the gouging tool for the horse mane area ;)

Lovely work. I go through periods of doing a certain activity a lot, finishing a project, then moving on to something else. I haven't done any leather tooling for ages. Sigh.
